Bass Keys: Late Night Therapist

*The scene opens to Bass Keys, bass player of the band, Flash Drive, resting in his home.  His sunglasses resting on a desk near his bed*

Bass: *Snoring, then turns to his left only to come in contact with Brawly. Who is lying next to him for some reason* Brawly?

Brawly: *Sounding upset*Hey.

Bass: How did you get in my house?

Brawly: I have a copy of your key.

Bass: *Slightly terrified* Why do you have a copy of my house key?!

Brawly: I have a copy of all my friends’ house keys.

Bass: Brawly, that is legitimately horrifying.

Brawly: Yeah….Listen, can I ask you something?

Bass: *Getting increasingly angry* this couldn’t have waited until morning?

Brawly: No. It’s about Sonata and mine’s relationship.

Bass: *Raise a brow* what’s wrong? You two having issues or…

Brawly: No, no, nothing like that.  Everything’s great with Sona. She’s great. But….recently she started asking me stuff about our future. About what we’re gonna do after graduation, after college, and what happens if we get married.

Bass:..Do you not want to get married?

Brawly: No, I totally do! It’s just…she’s worried about any kids we do have.

Bass: Huh?

Brawly: She’s not…totally human…So she’s scared that any kids we have might be…messed up.

Bass:…Brawly, you love Sonata, right?

Brawly: Yeah?

Bass: Then nothing else should matter. Whether your children are completely human or not, what matters is that you are there for her…no matter what happens.

Brawly:…Thanks, Bass.  I’ll talk to Sonata in the morning.

Bass:Good…Now, get the hell out of my house.

Brawly: Can do! *Crawls out of his bed, and makes his way towards the front door*

Bass: *Shakes his head* I need to get that key from him.
