Power& Abilities: According to Roda,Beattia possesses a large amount of mana and magically energy. Beattia's form of magic revolves around sound and (at times) pressure. He can increase the sound ratio by extending his middle finger, pinky, and thumb and pointing at the target. The sound he emits is powerful enough to immobilize anyone in range. Beattia is also capable of creating 'solid sound' constructs, using them as shields or blades or projectiles. Another ability of Beattia's is flight via his sound constructs, by creating 'notes' in the air, he can use them to fly at top speed. Aside from his magically prowess,Beattia is incredibly fast, able to travel at the speed of sound, and is skilled unarmed fighter, having trained with Roda on several occasions.

Beattia apparently loves when people fear him, giving him a sense of superiority.  Roda(as well as other students and members of the staff) have commented on his cruel behavior, saying that he did not belong at the School. Despite being portrayed as cruel, he is surprisingly laid back and calm most of the time.  

Background:  Beattia found out about his abilities when he was about fifteen and was enrolled at FA by his parents (who seems terrified of him) Even at a young age, he seemed overly cruel, tormenting staff and students alike. During a training session with another student, he nearly killed him, stating because he was "Too weak to live" this resulted in his expulsion for FA, leaving him bitter and angry.
